#JusticeForAdaobi: Lady dies after walking into faulty elevator in hotel
A Nigerian lady met her death after she unknowingly walked into a faulty elevator in a hotel based in Asaba, Delta state.
According to a Facebook user identified as Nkechi Obianze, the said tragic incident happened on Sunday, 31st October 2020, in Hotel Toscana, Asaba, Delta State.
The victim identified as Adaobi Enechukwu, a native of Adazi Nnukwu, was said to have travelled to Asaba for a wedding ceremony and visited the hotel; Villa Toscana, along okpanam road, opposite Nigeria Police Headquarters, Delta state, where she met her untimely death due to the carelessness of the hotel management that refused to work on their faulty elevator or put up a sign to alert their guests.
According to the CCTV footage that surfaced online, the faulty Elevator door was left open and unbeknownst to Adaobi that the elevator didn’t come up.
According to Obianze who shared the story on her Facebook wall, ‘the Hotel Owner/Management are claiming right and angry with the family of the deceased for sharing the story of her death on social media’.
