“Maradona” crooner, Niniola, has become the first Nigerian female artiste to reach one million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The excited songstress shared the good news on her Instagram page and thanked her fans for making her latest feat possible.
According to the music streaming platform, Niniola has a total of 1,004,093 monthly listeners.

Niniola wrote,
“And just like a Movie we have crossed the 1m Monthly listeners Mark on @spotify…
“Thank you so much guys for taking the Ilejemeje Girl to the world.”
The AfroHouse singer rose to recognition in 2013 after finishing third runner-up on the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa.

Upon the release of her breakthrough debut single “Ibadi”, Niniola was nominated in the “Most Promising Act to Watch” category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
The native of Ekiti State currently has a record deal with Drumroll Records.
