The Nation Newspaper headquarters located at Fatai Atere Way at the Mushin area of Lagos has been reportedly set on fire by unknown hoodlums.
This follows attacks on establishments owned by the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, including Television station, TV Continental (TVC) which was burnt earlier today.
The destruction is as a result of attacks by thugs who have hijacked the peaceful protests against police brutality across the nation.
According to an anonymous witness, a group of thugs had earlier gathered at the area with unknown intentions on Wednesday morning.
Hours after he managed to find his way out of the premise, he confirmed that the building has now been shut down and set on fire by the angry mob.
According to a video obtained by WuzupNigeria, the gate of the establishment has been left opened and a car parked at the main entrance of the building could be seen burning.
As at the time of this report, it is unknown which parts of the building have been affected by the fire.
Recall that for the past two weeks, protests have rocked major cities across the nation including Lagos, Abuja, Edo amongst others.
A number of government and private establishments have been vandalized by hoodlums disguising as #EndSARS protesters.
Things took a turn for the worse after security operatives in military uniforms shot live rounds at unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos on Tuesday night with an unconfirmed number of fatalities and injuries, although, the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu denied reports of any fatality.
A number of police stations have been vandalised and set ablaze across the state since the protest spiralled into riots a few days ago.
