A Dana Air Plane on Tuesday was reported to have veered off the runway while landing at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
The aircraft took off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and veered off the track while landing at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
In a statement shared on their social media handles, Dana Air management stated that all the passengers and crew members on the flight were fine.
The statement partly read, “Dana Air regrets to inform the public of a runway excursion involving one of our aircraft.
“We are relieved to confirm that all 83 passengers and crew onboard the flight disembarked safely without injuries or scare as the crew handled the situation with utmost professionalism.”
The airline further stated that it had informed the Accident Investigation Bureau and Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority about the incident and that the aircraft had been taken for further investigation.
