Rangers have been officially confirmed winners of the Scottish Premiership on Sunday after bitter rivals, Celtic were held to a goalless draw against Dundee United.

Super Eagles Joseph Ayodele-Aribo and Leon Balogun were both instrumental for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side through the season as they won their 55th Scottish top-flight title.

The Eagles duo participated in Rangers’ 3-0 win over St Mirren on Saturday with Gerrard’s men needed a draw or a defeat from Celtic to end their top-flight trophy drought since 2011.

The draw at Tannadice officially ended the Celtics bid for a 10th consecutive Scottish Premiership crown.

The Teddy Bears still have a record to set with six league matches left to play as the hope to go the entire 2020/21 season unbeaten having recorded 28 victories and four draws from their 32 games.

Gerrard’s side have kept 24 clean sheets, scoring 77 goals, conceding just nine since the start of the season.
