JUST IN: Niger state gov, Bello Sani, contracts COVID-19
The Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello, has tested positive for the deadly COVID-19, WuzupNigeria reports.
Bello made the announcement via his official Twitter handle on Monday, November 9 2020.
Although the governor said that he is asymptomatic, he confirmed that he has gone into isolation as in line with the COVID-19 guidelines.
“I have tested positive to #COVID19. However, I am asymptomatic and have gone into isolation,” Bello’s tweet read.
