Adamawa state government has reported the confirmation of another case of the coronavirus infection.
The new case, is a medical doctor, at the Mubi General hospital, who contracted the infection without any known travel history, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri said in his state broadcast on Tuesday.
Fintiri said the new case which has no link with the index case who is a returnee from Kano, heightened concerns of community transmission of the virus in the state.
The governor, has therefore ordered the compulsory use of face mask in public.
