Lagos Health Commissioner, Prof Akin Abayomi, has contracted the coronavirus [COVID-19], WuzupNigeria has gathered.
This was disclosed by Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Gawat Jubril A., via his Twitter handle on Monday.
Jubril wrote,
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, has tested POSITIVE to the Corona Virus. He is doing well and shows no symptoms.He will begin 14 days self-isolation and home care immediately and continues to discharge his duty as Deputy Incident Commander.
