Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, governor of Kwara, has confirmed five new COVID-19 cases in the state.
In a tweet late Thursday, the governor made the announcement, advising residents to stay safe.
With the announcement, a total of nine cases have been confirmed in the state.
He wrote,
We have 5 new confirmed Covid-19 cases in Kwara. Please, everyone, keep safe.
Together, we will overcome this.
