JUST IN: Igboho meets legal team weeks after leaving detention
Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, on Friday met with members of his legal team in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The development comes one month after the activist was released from detention.
Recall that Sunday Igboho’s close aides had disclosed that despite his release, the agitator is not free to leave Benin Republic yet.
WuzupNigeria reported that Igboho shared his first post, a three-minute video, on Instagram on March 9.
The video which was captioned “Thank you everyone,” captured the activist relaxing in a room in Cotonou, wearing a blue T-Shirt and a pair of jeans with no footwear.
To discuss his next line of action, Igboho alongside the leader of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Banji Akintoye and a French Language Expert, Professor Wale Adeniran, met with his counsels on Friday.
