JUST IN: Herdsmen kill three hunters in Ogun
Herdsmen suspected to have come from Igangan in Oyo State on Sunday night reportedly stormed Imeko, a community in Ogun State, and killed three hunters.
The herdsmen were said to have left Igangan, a few kilometres away, and invaded a community in Imeko, Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of the state.
The PUNCH reports that the herdsmen were resisted by hunters in the area leading to the death of three of the hunters.
A source in the area said that residents of the area are now apprehensive about the incident.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the command was not aware of the incident.
