JUST IN: Head of Igbo community in Malaysia passes on two months after he was crowned

According to reports reaching us, the leader of the Igbo community in Malaysia, Izuchukwu Nwajiaku is dead.

The Ezendigbo Malaysia reportedly died of unknown cause on Sunday, barely two months after he was crowned in August this year. He reportedly died in his sleep.

He is survived a wife and three children.

“On behalf of Igbo Union Malaysia (IUM), Nigeria Community in Malaysia, I extend my sincere condolences to the Igbo Community and all Nigerians on the loss of a fellow Igbo son, brother and father, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku (Onwa na Ozubulu). May his soul rest in peace. Amen,” announced a statement signed by Ogbuefi, Acting President, Igbo Union Malaysia (IUM)

He was crowned on August 14. The staff of office was presented to him by President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Malaysia chapter, Biafra Diboh who urged him then to continue with his good works that saw the entire community agreeing to crown him.
