There was panic on Friday when unknown gunmen kidnapped the wife and daughter of Plateau State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Usman Bamaiyi.

Eyewitnesses said the assailants stormed the residence of Bamaiyi where they whisked away both mother and daughter.

As of the time of reporting this story, no demand has been made for ransom.

Recall that Bamaiyi is one of the top aspirants vying for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
