A Fourth Republic lawmaker, Senator Biyi Durojaye, has died at the age of 88.
Sources said Durojaye passed away in Lagos in the early hours of Tuesday while receiving medical attention.
88-year-old Durojaiye was once the chairman, Board of Commissioners for Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
He was also a leader of the foremost Yoruba sociopolitical organisation, Afenifere.
Durojaye was a senator on the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in 1999.
