JUST IN: EFCC arrests Okorocha over money laundering allegation
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday apprehended the former Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, over an alleged money laundering.
Okorocha was said to have been picked up at his office.
When contacted, EFCC spokesperson for the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed that the news was true.
“Okorocha has been arrested by our men”, he said in a telephone chat.
