JUST IN: Ebonyi Commissioner Fidelis Nweze dies days after surviving auto crash
The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Infrastructure Development, Engr. Fidelis Nweze, is dead.
His demise was confirmed by the State Governor, David Umahi, on Tuesday in Abakaliki, capital of the state.
The Nation reported that the deceased had died in a hospital in Abuja due to injuries he sustained in an auto crash earlier in the week.
Nweze was Commissioner for Works in the first tenure of Governor Umahi between 2015 and 2019.
He was also reputed to be the man behind the many infrastructural developments recorded in the State in the last six years.
The commissioner was also believed to be a strong ally of Governor Umahi.
