JUST IN: DSS, Police arrest suspected IPOB members at Nnamdi Kanu’s trial in Abuja
Operatives from the FCT Police Command and Department of State Services on Monday clamped down on some suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who showed up at the Federal High Court in Abuja for Nnamdi Kanu’s trial, TheNewsGuru reports.
Informed sources said some of the fugitive’s supporters were detained after they started chanting slogans in support of Kanu and demanding his freedom.
Two of those arrested were said to have worn Jewish apparel.
Kanu is due to appear for his trial in an Abuja high court after he was arrested and extradited to Nigeria in June.
