JUST IN: Denmark, Finland match suspended after Eriksen slumps
The Euro 2020 Group B match between Denmark and Finland has been suspended on Saturday due to medical emergency after Inter Milan midfielder, Christian Eriksen, collapsed mid-match on the pitch.
The former Tottenham midfielder has been stretchered off the pitch by the medical team after requiring medical attention for about 10 minutes.
According to AP, the 29-year-old slumped untouched towards the end of the first half and was immediately surrounded by medical personnel as his teammates formed a wall around him.
The worried Finland players huddled by their bench and eventually walked off the field while Eriksen was still getting treatment.
