Court grants Okorocha bail after one week in EFCC custody
The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted a former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, bail after one week in the custody of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission.
Justice Inyang Ekwo on Tuesday granted the All Progressive Congress aspirant bail of N500 million, according to Channels Television.
Premium Politics had earlier reported that the EFCC arraigned Okorocha on a 17-count of fraud.
EFCC accused Okorocha of alleged money fraud of N2.9 billion while in office as governor of Imo between 2007 and 2015.
