The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday is reported to be in a meeting with some Northern Governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The delegation was led by chairman of Northern Governors Forum, Simon Lalong.
The meeting also has Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, in attendance.
Other delegates are Governors Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi); Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna); Mai Mala Buni (Yobe); Abubakar Bello (Niger) and Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa).
