Buhari heads to London for medical follow-up
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) will depart Nigeria on Friday for another medical trip in London, the United Kingdom.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in a statement title, ‘PRESIDENT BUHARI OFF TO LONDON FRIDAY FOR MEDICAL FOLLOW-UP.’
Adesina further revealed that the president would depart Nigeria on Friday, June 25, and return to the country in the second week of July 2021.
The trip tagged “Medical Follow-Up” comes after Buhari’s spent two weeks after a similar trip to the UK on March 30, 2021.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will proceed to London, the United Kingdom on Friday, June 25, 2021, for a scheduled medical follow-up.
“He is due back in the country during the second week of July, 2021,” the statement read.
