BRT bus engulfed by fire in Lagos [Video]
A Bus Rapid Transit – BRT vehicle belonging to the Lagos State Government has been engulfed by fire at Idiroko bus stop in Lagos State on Monday morning.
An eye-witness told WuzupNigeria that the bus was said to have caught fire while conveying passengers towards the Ikordu road area of the state.
The witness further revealed that the passengers and the driver were able to scramble to safety before the fire engulfed the vehicle.
WuzuNpNigeria is unable to confirm the cause of the fire but the witness revealed that fire-fighters arrived after the 40-85 passenger capacity bus had burnt beyond recognition.
