JUST IN: Ajax beat Vitesse to clinch 20th Dutch Cup

Dutch giant, Ajax Amsterdam, on Sunday won the Eredivisie for the 20th time on Sunday after they pipped Vitesse Arnhem 2-1 in Rotterdam.

The win kept the team on course for the league-cup double.

According to Super Sports, Erik ten Haag’s side garnered 72 points from 28 games with six to play while PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar both have 61 points.

Ryan Gravenberch shot Ajax ahead on 23rd-minute before Lois Openda levelled seven minutes later for Arnhem.

Trouble came knocking in the 86th minute when Arnhem were reduced to 10 men after Jacob Rasmussen was red-carded

A brilliant goal by Brazilian David Neres gave Ajax all the three points at stoppage time.
