Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has opened up about the journey of guiding his Christian wife, Priscilla Ojo, to convert to Islam, describing the process as one that required patience, understanding, and spiritual guidance.
Speaking in an interview on Millard Ayo’s YouTube channel, Jux acknowledged the challenge of initiating the conversation with Priscilla about embracing a new faith.
He said religious leaders played a key role by offering him lessons on how to approach the matter respectfully.
“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim. On the other hand, I was receiving lessons from religious leaders, so there was a way that they were teaching me about how to convince her, and with time, she understood,” he said.
Jux revealed that Priscilla eventually embraced Islam after gaining a deeper understanding of the religion.
He also spoke about his widely discussed wedding, stating that he had envisioned it long before it happened.
“I knew everything when it came to my wedding. I had a dream about it, I was so lucky to find someone who wants the same thing as I,” he said.
Jux expressed his gratitude for finding a life partner who aligns with his values and aspirations.
