Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, has released the official music video for ‘God Design’, his romantic collaboration with Nigerian rapper Phyno.

Jux unveiled the vibrant visuals on his Instagram page on Wednesday, just weeks after the audio version of the song was released.

The track is dedicated to his wife, Priscilla Ojo, whom he traditionally married earlier this year in Lagos.

The song’s lyrics are a heartfelt tribute, with Jux expressing admiration for Priscilla’s personality and describing their bond as “divinely orchestrated.”

Phyno contributes Igbo-infused verses that add a distinct Nigerian flair to the Bongo Flava sound.

“Ayo mi ti de/ This is God design/ Forever you will be mine/ Nwa di mature/ Spirit gi pure/ You came and open up the door/ Say she go dey for rich and poor/ She classy and demure/ Kwechiri gi I go secure/ Out of a mili you are the one/ Everyday I am wanting you more/ Yeah you dey give me life,” the lyrics read.

The video, shot in Lagos, visually narrates the love story of the couple, showcasing moments of affection and elegance. Actress Iyabo Ojo, socialite Chioma Ikokwu, influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Liam, the son of the late singer Mohbad, make notable appearances in the nearly four-minute production.

Directed by Kenny and produced by Verse Network Tanzania, the video follows the couple’s traditional wedding in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, which took place in February.

Jux and Priscilla first confirmed their relationship in July 2024 via social media, capturing public attention across East and West Africa.

Priscilla, born on March 13, 2001, is a graduate of Media and Theater Arts from Babcock University. She began acting at age 14 with her debut in the film ‘Beyond Disability’, a role that earned her a Best of Nollywood Award nomination for ‘Best Child Actress.’

Juma Jux, born Juma Mussa Mkambala, launched his music career at 16 and signed with A.M Records in 2008. Known for his fusion of R&B, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats, Jux has released several hits, including ‘Enjoy’, ‘Nitasubiri’, ‘Fashion Killer’, ‘Sugua’, ‘Juu’, and ‘Nidhibiti’. He is widely recognized as one of Tanzania and East Africa’s most prominent music stars.
