A 24-year-old from Osun State, Joy Mojisola Raimi, has been crowned the winner of the 2025 Miss World Nigeria.

The beauty queen emerged victorious at the grand finale of the competition, which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, the organizer of the Miss World Nigeria pageant, shared the news on his 𝕏 handle on Saturday.

Raimi, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, triumphed over 36 other contestants to claim the prestigious title.

In his post, Senator Murray-Bruce congratulated Raimi, saying, “Congratulations to Joy Mojisola Raimi, the 24-year-old representing Osun State, on being crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025! The grand finale took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, where 37 contestants from across Nigeria competed for the top spot.”

Raimi is passionate about humanitarian work and has founded “The Love for Humanity” project, which aims to spread love and restore faith in humanity.

During the competition’s final round, she faced off against contestants from Imo, Ebonyi, Abuja, and Abia states.

When asked about overcoming bullying, Raimi shared a deeply personal story of growing up without a mother and enduring harassment from her caregiver. She revealed that despite being told she would never achieve anything, she has proven her detractors wrong by reaching this significant milestone.

As Miss World Nigeria 2025, Raimi will represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World Pageant, which will be held in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, 2025, where she will compete against contestants from 140 countries.
