A Nigerian media practitioner Adenike Ashogbon-Fagbemi has called out an online clothing store for allegedly swindling her sister of N11,000.

Adenike took to her Facebook page to share details of the transaction between the alleged scammer one Henry Ugbede Idakwo and the victim Oshineye Oluwakemi.

It was gathered that Henry who runs an Instagram store with the handle @ultimate_super_wears had posted some female clothes on his page for sale which Oluwakemi had interest in.

She was said to have reached out to Henry with intentions to buy the clothes valued at N11,000, she sent the agreed sum to the seller who had promised to send the clothes to her in 48 hours after payment.

When she did not receive the clothes after 48 hours as promised, Oluwakemi tried to speak with Henry, but she discovered she had been blocked by Henry on all channels and she couldn’t reach him.

This prompted her to raise an alarm to the activities of the alleged scammer.

Adenike shared screenshots of the bank transaction between Kemi and Henry in a post and wrote:

“One Henry Ugbede Idakwo thinks he can scam my sister. My own person! Laaye!

“He is going down. He blocked her on IG after money was sent to him and blocked her from reaching him. He has messed with the wrong person.

“We’ve gotten him by his ‘balls’. We now have his details and BVN details, he is going down! This is to all scammers. You do not mess with everybody, laayelaaye! For the records, he is an Abuja based entrepreneur.”

When WuzupNigeria checked the IG page of the online store on Tuesday, it’s last post was three days ago when it uploaded 57 products for sale in a day. Since then the store has not posted any product for sale.

Also on the page were screenshots of alleged feedbacks from customers who had patronised the store. Their identities were, however, not revealed.

A few hours after the lady raised an alarm to the alleged fraudulent activities of the online store, Adenike said the suspect had begged for leniency

She wrote:

“He has promised to pay us our money back tomorrow. We have his home address too, his National ID number, BVN Number he has also begged us to please give him time till tomorrow. So, we chill till tomorrow. Let him first pay back the money first.

When asked if the suspect gave any reason for not sending the clothes and subsequently blocking his customer on social media, she said:

“He didn’t. He only said he is working for someone and that we should please keep it low and he would refund.”
