Former captain of Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo, on Friday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock in Abuja.
According to a message posted on the Twitter handle of Mr President, Yobo and a delegation of Ogoni leaders, led by HRM King G.N.K. Gininwa (JP) OFR,Gbenemene Tai Kingdom and HRM King (Dr) W.S. Joshua Igbugburu X, were received in the Statehouse this morning.
“Our commitment to cleaning, securing and empowering the Niger Delta is genuine. We made a promise, we will fulfill it,” the Twitter message added.

President Buhari had last week said the cleanup of Ogoniland and other oil-impacted communities which his administration started in Bodo, Rivers State on June 2 would last 20 years.
