Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend nabbed for assault
Grace Jabbari, the ex-girlfriend of the United States actor, Jonathan Majors, has been arrested for allegedly attacking the “Creed III” actor.
According to TMZ, Jabbari was arrested at Manhattan’s 10th Precinct on Wednesday evening.
The assault incident dates back to June 22 when Majors filed a cross-complaint against Jabbari.
Jabbari was said to have scratched Majors on his right hand and slapped him across the face, causing a cut to his cheek and ear pain.
She also reportedly tore buttons off his coat and damaged the front pocket. She is now facing charges of misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief.
However, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office previously stated it will not prosecute Jabbari for the allegations made by Majors regarding an incident on March 25, 2023.
This decision appears to conflict with the NYPD’s belief that there is probable cause to arrest Jabbari. Despite the district attorney’s stance, the police proceeded with her arrest.
In an earlier incident, Majors faced charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment after Jabbari accused him of assaulting her in a Manhattan apartment.
Following the accusation, Jabbari received medical treatment for head and neck injuries at a local hospital and was subsequently released.
Majors claims to have evidence supporting his innocence, including security footage showing Jabbari partying all night after the alleged attack.
In court documents, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, highlighted that Jabbari was seen walking normally into the establishment, ordering drinks, dancing, and using the hand she claimed Majors injured to push her hair back.
At a hearing on Wednesday, the judge set Majors’ trial date for November 29 as the legal proceedings continue.
