Joeboy’s ‘Alcohol’ video peaks number one on digital charts

Singer and songwriter Joseph Akinfenwa-Donus popularly known as Joeboy has dropped the music video for his hit song ‘Alcohol.’

Joeboy made the announcement in a Twitter post on Friday.

He said, “Official video to Alcohol out now.”

In another tweet, Joeboy announced that the song still peaks at number one on all digital charts in Nigeria including Apple Music, Spotify, Shazam and Youtube, for two consecutive weeks.

The single started trending on social media after TikTok users created videos with the song to display actions inspired by the lyrics.

Celebrities were not left out in the challenge.

Joeboy was signed into Mr Eazi’s record label Empawa Africa in 2017.

He released his EP titled Love and Light in 2019 which comprises ‘Baby’, ‘Beginning’, ‘Don’t Call Me Back’, ‘All For You’ and ‘Blessings.’
