Singer and songwriter, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known by his stage name D’banj, has openly declared that he is a new convert.
The Kokomaster announced that he has become born again.
The development is coming just a few days after another Afro Pop singer, Chidimma Ekile, dumped circular music for gospel acts.
In a viral video making the rounds on social media, Dbanj declared at a Christian concert in Abuja that he is for Jesus.
He went down memory lane and recounted how God has blessed him with two kids after his first child drowned mysteriously in a pool at his apartment.
According to the Nation, the overwhelmed father shared a photo of himself and his baby on Instagram with the caption;
“What I was trying to say is that I’m actually born again. When I said Jesus is the koko, I meant it. If anybody knows my story, for every one of my album, I always give honour to whom honour is due.

“And to my Beautiful Wife lineo, I watched how you changed by the day and I marvelled at your strength. I couldn’t imagine the stress you had to go through carrying another human in a body . But You taught me what real strength is as you endured every kick and change just to give us our baby girl,while still Taking care of all of us.
“You are wonderful love and a Rare Gem I’m grateful I get to wake up to you. You have proven yet again that you are unmistakably one of the best gifts God has ever blessed me with,” he said.
