Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations, has gifted Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey a new car.
Bassey, in an Instagram post on Friday, revealed that he had planned to spend the day quietly thanking God. However, he then discovered that Eze had been working with his wife to surprise him with the vehicle.

The gesture adds another chapter to the close friendship between the two prominent Christian ministers. They have repeatedly supported each other’s ministries and appeared together at major gospel events.
Bassey, who marked his birthday with a message of gratitude to God, described his life and achievements as products of divine help.
“45! This boy here is helped by God. From A to Z, it is God all the way,” he wrote while asking followers to join him in thanking God.
The trumpeter and worship leader also declared his new age as a year of favour, beauty and honour.
Jerry Eze and Bassey have built a friendship that has become familiar to their followers over the years. Eze has appeared at Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge, while the singer has also participated in programmes connected to the NSPPD convener.
Bassey is one of Nigeria’s leading gospel musicians and is widely known for songs including “Onise Iyanu,” “Imela,” “Tobechukwu” and “You Are God.”
He is also the convener of the Hallelujah Challenge, an online praise and worship programme. The programme has attracted participants from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
The latest gift has drawn attention from followers of both ministers, adding to the celebrations surrounding Bassey’s 45th birthday.
