American singer Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, has fired back at the singer’s recent claim that she had never been truly loved by any of her exes, accusing her of cheating during their short marriage.

The 49-year-old former actor and personal trainer took to Instagram over the weekend after Lopez’s interview with Howard Stern, where she said her past partners “weren’t capable” of loving her.

Noa, who was married to the pop star from 1997 to 1998, wrote, “Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card. The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants.”

He claimed Lopez cheated on him and begged him to keep quiet to avoid bad press. “You have been loved a few times. You’ve been married four times and had countless relationships. You decided to lie, to cheat on me, and begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press,” he alleged.

Ojani said he was “faithful, honest and loving,” adding that he left his home to support Lopez early in her career, only to be abandoned when she became famous. “I was good to you. Too good of a man for you. You should be ashamed of yourself,” he said.

Lopez, 56, is yet to respond to his accusations. Her original comments were aimed at all her exes, including actor Ben Affleck, whom she divorced in February. She told Stern, “It’s not that I’m not lovable. It’s that they’re not capable. They gave me what they could — the houses, the rings, the marriages — but I had to learn to love myself.”

In the same interview, Lopez described her recent divorce from Affleck as “the best thing that ever happened to me,” saying it pushed her to work on herself through therapy and coaching.

Noa and Lopez were married for less than a year before splitting in 1998. He has often described himself as “the first” in her long list of public relationships, saying in a past interview that he supported her through the early stages of fame before being cast aside.
