An undisclosed Japanese man has suffered a life-threatening stroke moments after ejaculating from intense masturbation.

The 51-year-old man was said to have been in the habit of masturbating several times a day, a medical case report published earlier this year in the Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases stated.

Unfortunately, one day his habit led to a potentially deadly subarachnoid haemorrhage – when a blood vessel in the brain bursts.

According to a report in Daily Mail citing National Health Services (NHS), the stroke the man suffered can be triggered by having sex, coughing, and even going to the toilet.

The man, who prefers not to be identified for obvious reasons, immediately suffered intense headaches after climaxing, which later led to vomiting.

Concerned about his well-being, the man took himself to the Nagoya City University Hospital where medics ran a series of tests.

They found he had low blood pressure and was confused.

Confusion, headaches, blurred vision, trouble speaking, and walking are just some of the signs of a stroke.

A CT scan confirmed the man’s diagnosis and he was treated in hospital.

The man luckily survived and was discharged after nearly two weeks in hospital in an “excellent” condition.
