The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has welcomed the return of Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR), former governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, to the All Progressives Congress, describing it as a significant and positive development for the state.

Dr. Adediran was received on Monday at the Speaker’s official residence in Ikeja GRA, where Obasa commended him for what he described as a courageous and thoughtful decision to return to the APC. According to the Speaker, the ruling party remains the most viable platform for delivering the aspirations of Lagosians and Nigerians at large.

Obasa assured JANDOR of full reintegration into the party’s structure and emphasized the importance of unity in the collective effort to sustain good governance across the state.

In his response, Dr. Adediran expressed gratitude for the warm reception and pledged his commitment to working with the APC to advance the development of Lagos and Nigeria. He also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent tax reforms, describing them as bold initiatives aimed at repositioning the country for long-term benefit.

“It takes courage and leadership to introduce such reforms in the face of resistance. The President has once again demonstrated his resolve to put the people first, and I fully align with this vision,” JANDOR said.
