Nigerian music sensation Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has revealed plans for a United States tour in anticipation of his upcoming album, which is set for release on September 12.
The announcement was made via his official Instagram account.
The “Kukere” hitmaker described the upcoming tour as a comeback effort, marking his return to the American stage after several years of absence. Titled “IYANYA: The Forester’s Son Tour”, the U.S. tour will run through October and November, taking him to multiple cities including Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and various stops across North Carolina.
Iyanya, who has previously toured internationally with much success, expressed his excitement at the opportunity to reconnect with his overseas fans. In a message shared online, he wrote:
“Album arrives Sept 12, hit the road Oct and Nov. United States, here we come.”
The artist is currently gaining momentum with his latest single “Blue Waters”, and the upcoming performances are expected to serve as a major turning point in his career resurgence.
Sources close to the singer confirmed the significance of the tour, noting the anticipation among fans.
