Axel Iwobi has agreed to join Fulham on transfer deadline day, with a deal worth around £22m including add-ons.
Iwobi had previously expressed his desire to leave Everton after declining a new contract offer from the club. He has not played in Everton’s last two matches due to a hamstring injury sustained in their 4-0 loss to Aston Villa on August 20th.
According to The Athletic, Iwobi is already undergoing a medical in London, with personal terms already agreed upon between the player and Fulham.
However, some issues remain to be resolved between the two clubs.
The transfer leaves Everton with little time to find a replacement for Iwobi, a regular first-team player under Sean Dyche and Frank Lampard.
