American singer Ray J has made a staggering claim about his sexual history, stating that he has been intimate with 12,500 women.
The 45-year-old artist made the revelation during a recent conversation with former NFL quarterback Cam Newton on the “Funky Friday” podcast.
In a November 2025 interview, Ray J had previously said he had been “intimate with 1,000 women.” However, during the conversation with Newton, he clarified that the number has since risen to 12,500.
“I had a party when I reached 10,000. We had a celebration to mark my 10,000th. I had about 500 girls who had been with me come through and supported me. It was a massive parade. It’s a little bit more now,” Ray J said.
He emphasised that the figure refers to distinct individuals, not total sexual encounters. “No, it isn’t about how many times I’ve had sex, I’m talking about 10,000 different people. It’s at 12,500 now,” he said.
The singer also claimed that while on tour, he could be with five to ten women per day. He alleged that some women have even higher numbers, suggesting that certain female acquaintances have been with up to 45,000 men in a single year.
“When we are on tour, it’s about five to 10 women a day. These guys have way more than me. Some of my homegirls have sex with up to 45,000 guys a year, I’m not capping,” he said.
Newton, like many listeners, expressed skepticism, doing the math on the spot and pointing out that the claim would mean Ray J has been averaging more than one woman a day for 30 years. However, Ray J did not back down.
The claim comes months after the singer revealed in January that doctors had warned he might not have much time left to live after being hospitalised for pneumonia and heart-related issues.
