Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith, has revealed that he is seriously contemplating leaving the reality show, describing his time in the house as “a waste of time.”
The medical doctor made the revelation during a candid conversation with fellow housemate, Joanna, in the garden.
Faith expressed his frustration when Joanna asked him why he was participating in the show. “I am here because someone fing told me to sign up for this sht,” he snapped, visibly irritated. He continued, “I want to fing leave. This is a waste of my time. What am I doing here?”
Joanna, seemingly unfazed by his outburst, simply responded, “Alright.” However, Faith pressed on, adding, “I know you don’t believe me, but I’m seriously considering it.”
Faith explained that his doubts about the show were driven by research he had done into its long-term impact on housemates’ careers.
“I read about this show, the average time you need to spend on the show to actually make a career is five and a half weeks,” he shared.
Having already spent five weeks in the house, Faith suggested that he may have already reached the threshold needed for any potential career benefits.
His concerns have been further fueled by his recent nomination for eviction. However, a twist of fate occurred when Head of House Rooboy drew a note that nullified all nominations for the week, giving Faith and the other nominated housemates a temporary reprieve.
Despite the temporary relief, Faith maintained that he was seriously weighing his options. “Honestly, I’m thinking about it seriously,” he admitted, leaving his future on the show uncertain.
Faith’s comments have sparked a wide debate among fans online, with some viewing his potential exit as a strategic decision, while others feel it would be a missed opportunity. Under BBNaija rules, housemates are permitted to voluntarily exit at any time during the show.
For now, all eyes are on Faith as viewers eagerly await to see if his frustration will lead him to quit, or if he will stay and continue vying for a potential career boost.
