A man has stabbed his girlfriend to death after he found condoms in her bag.
Osaremwinda Omobude Idumwonyi, 46, stabbed Gladys Okoh with a kitchen knife three times in her mother’s room at No. 13, Ehiyoboy Street, Off Aifuwa Street, Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State.
The deceased, who is a single mother of three children, was rushed to the hospital where she later died.
The woman was killed a few hours after she left her Idumwonyi’s residence where she spent the night.

It has not been ascertained if the condoms were found inside Okoh’s bag while she was with him the previous night or during the day when he entered her aged mother’s rented apartment.
It was also gathered that the alleged discovery of condoms fuelled the man’s suspicion that she was embroiled in sizzling romantic relationships with other men.
The suspect, however, told police investigators that he killed his lover in self-defence.
According to him, the deceased picked a kitchen knife to stab him when an argument ensued between them but he overpowered and stabbed her.
