It’s a bad idea for COVID-19 to challenge me – Ibrahimovic
AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that it is a bad idea for COVID-19 to challenge him.
This was after the result of the COVID-19 test which he took yesterday came back positive.
The news was confirmed by AC Milan in a statement issued which revealed that the Swede has been quarantined.
The statement read:
“Zlatan Ibrahimović has tested positive for Covid-19 following a second round of swab tests ahead of tonight’s game against Bodø/Glimt. The Club has informed the relevant authorities and the player has been promptly placed in quarantine at home. All other team members and staff have tested negative.”
Taking to Twitter, Ibrahimovic revealed that he doesn’t have any symptom of the virus which he says had the courage to challenge him.
“I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever. Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea,” he tweeted.
