Following the recent happenings and alleged Police brutality in the country, Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), an arm of the Lagos state police command, Tunji Disu, organised a pep talk.
Tunji Disu while addressing men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), spoke on the need to be careful with their firearms and emphasized the need for them to value human lives above all things.
He said it is better for them to allow a criminal escape than to risk shooting and killing a civilian.
Disu also reminded his men that taxpayer money is what is used to purchase the same weapons used in maiming civilians whose life they are meant to protect.
