ISLAND TAIPAN! Deadly snakes spotted in Lekki, Ajah area, residents warned to be alert
Island Taipan, a species of snake have been reportedly seen in large numbers around the Lekki and Ajah area in Lagos State.
The information was shared by a Cool FM on-air personality, simply identified as N6oflife, on his Instagram page.
He said the Island Taipan is the 2nd deadliest in the world after the black mamba.
The OAP shared the photo of the deadly snake on his Instagram page and wrote,
“#BreakingNews HELLO EVERYONE… THIS SNAKE IS CALLED AN ISLAND TAIPAN, ITS THE 2ND DEADLIEST SNAKE IN THE WORLD AFTER THE BLACK MAMBA.
“ITS NATIVE TO AUSTRALIA ONLY BUT FOR SOME WEIRD REASON IT HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN LARGE NUMBERS IN THE LEKKI AND AJAH AREAS OF LAGOS. ONE DROP OF ITS VENOM CAN KILL 100 PEOPLE, IMAGINE IT SPITS INTO OUR WATER SUPPLY?
