Iraqi factions reported on Saturday that they had launched 19 separate operations targeting US military bases across the region.

In a statement, the group calling itself the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said the attacks took place early Saturday and involved strikes on American positions in Iraq and surrounding areas using both missiles and drones.

According to the group, its affiliated armed units carried out “19 operations over the past 24 hours, using dozens of drones and rockets.”

The “resistance” did not specify the exact targets or provide details on the impact or success of the operations.

The announcement comes as military tensions continue to intensify, with the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel against Iran entering its 36th day.
