A former Senator, Dino Melaye, has decried that the country has deteriorated into a sorry state under the presidency of Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).

In a post to his 2.4million followers on Twitter, the ex-Kogi West Senatorial district representatives highlighted the causes of the degradations of governance in the country.

According to Melaye, corruption, nepotism and mismanagement, amongst other factors, are the hallmark of president Buhari’s regime.

He said. “There is no longer governance in Government in Nigeria. Insecurity, Corruption, ineptitude, Nepotism and Maladministration is the Hallmark of the Buhari Administration.”

Melaye also made reference to the country’s commercial activities, lamenting that Nigeria exports crude oil for its refined products as well as the importation of toothpicks while we export timber.

“We export crude oil only to import refined products of crude oil, export cocoa only to import chocolate,

“We export Timber and import Furnitures including toothpick. Etc.”

Speaking further, Melaye charged Nigerians to wake up as silence will do them no good.

He said,  “In an unjust society silence is a crime. Wake up Nigeria!!!”
