The Independent National Electoral Commission has published the names of candidates cleared to contest the 2027 National Assembly election in Kwara State.
For the three senatorial districts in the state, the candidates confirmed by the electoral commission are Senator Saliu Mustapha for Kwara Central, Saheed Popoola for Kwara South and Kolo Baba Jiya for Kwara North.
In the House of Representatives race, the list released by INEC includes Prof. Fatai Ayinde Aremu, who will contest the Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Saka Yusuf Eletu for the Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, and Mashood Bakare for the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
Other candidates cleared by the electoral body for the House of Representatives election are Gbenga Joseph Obanla for the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Shaaba Usman Kawu for the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, and Ahmed Abubakar Sadiq for the Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency.
