INEC begins ad-hoc staff recruitment for Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the upcoming governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states, scheduled to be held in November and December 2023.
According to a statement by INEC, the portal for the application process opened on Thursday, August 31st, 2023, and will close on Monday, October 2nd, 2023.
The statement said the applicants must be Nigerian citizens, at least 18 years old, and have a valid means of identification. They must also have a functional email address and phone number.
The statement added that the applicants would be required to undergo a screening exercise and training before being deployed to their respective polling units.
The ad-hoc staff would perform various roles, such as presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, polling clerks, and collation officers.
