The prophecy of controversial Enugu Catholic priest, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, on the Imo State governorship poll came to pass on Tuesday evening just as predicted.

The Supreme Court gave Mbaka’s prophetic career a boost after sacking Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP as Imo Governor and declared Senator Hope Uzodinma of the APC winner of the March 2019 governorship election.

Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria (Amen), had said in his prophecies during the 2019 crossover ministration at his Adoration Ground, that Senator Uzodinma who came a distant fourth in the election will take over the governance of Imo State.

He, however, said he didn’t know the manner the revelation would manifest, but “no prophesy has ever been declared on this prayer ground without coming to pass.”

Ihedioha was declared winner of the election last year by INEC after polling 273,404 votes to defeat his closest rival Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance who polled 190,364 votes. Ifeanyi Ararume of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) came third with 114,676 votes. Uzodinma who has just been declared governor of the state came distant fourth with 96,458 votes.

There was a margin of 176,946 votes between Ihedioha who was declared winner by INEC and Uzodinma declared by the Supreme Court. This wide margin between the sacked governor and the APC candidate must have informed Mbaka’s position that he does not know the manner his prophecy would manifest.

But it did manifest just 13 days after he made the declaration.

Recall that the Mbaka’s declaration sparked controversy among the political class in Imo state with PDP chieftains taking on the vociferous priest for prophesying against their party.
