The Federal Government announced that the next stage of the recruitment exercise for the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Federal Fire Service will start in August.
The Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, Ja’afaru Ahmed, shared this information in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.
Ahmed mentioned that the Board aims to complete the recruitment process by the end of September. He stated, “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board wishes to inform the general public that it will commence the next stage of the recruitment exercise in August and will conclude the exercise before the end of September 2024.”
All shortlisted candidates will be informed about the next stage of the recruitment through their phone numbers and email addresses.
Ahmed also apologized for the delay in completing the exercise by the previously intended date of June 15. He explained, “It was due to a nationwide manpower audit carried out in the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), which was just recently ended.”
He reassured that the Board is committed to completing the recruitment process efficiently.
