A Nigerian man has claimed that Immaculate Conception Parish, Owerri, boycotted one of their late member’s burial mass because of unpaid choir dues.
According to the Facebook user, Ifeanyị Ọnwụneme, some of the parish members only arrived at Chima’s graveside just for eye service.
Ifeanyị Ọnwụneme also said that sadly the deceased is an orphan.

“Because Chima couldn’t pay all his Choir dues, his Church Choir – Immaculate Conception Parish, Owerri – refused to attend and sing at his Burial Mass.
“Some of the said Parish members only arrived at his graveside just to show pretence.
“That’s too bad for a boy who had been an ORPHAN.
“Sincerely, the Catholic Church is gradually becoming a monumental disappointment.”
In Ọnwụneme’s previous post he lovingly described his friend and showered praises on the late Chima. He said;
“Chima, you exuded so much energy and added extraordinary flavour to our performances; your stage presence was second to none.
“Nwanne anyị nwoke, we miss you already!…
“Chima, as I threw a spadeful of sand on your coffin, I broke into tears, sobbing uncontrollably.
“Everyone watched me; our #FGC family members held me strongly and cried with me. It was indeed a sad day!
“But, you smiled at me and reminded me that in heaven, there’s NO MORE WEEPING!!!”
